About the coolest thing I could think of a lava lamp doing is erupting, it'd be incredibly strange, yet also quite appropriate.

I'm downloading every single episode of the classic ninja turtles. I don't know why, but I saw the torrent and I thought I'd give it a shot 'cause it has a ton of seeds. If I can successfully download it I'll put them on some DVD's. I doubt it will be, though, since the file is 20 times the size of anything I've ever downloaded before. My brother wont be impressed.

mp3s are already compressed. a 4 and a half minute sample of uncompressed stereo audio will be more like 50MB.
doesn't sound like that mp3 is compressed a great deal though. it's probably 320kbps or so. if you can save it out from the source again (for best quality - recoding an mp3 is lossy) but look in the options and find out how to set the bitrate, you can get a file half the size or less, still at great quality. go for 128kbps or 160kbps.

I'd just like to say that this new Gwen Stefani song is officially the dumbest, most annoying, turd of a song I've heard yet this year. Why do people like it? Fuck.

I dunno Gwen Stefani deserves some credit though. All of her music is different from anything that's already out there(to my knowing's). All her songs sound different too. However, I'm not a big fan of her latest track/

Bonus points for being damn hot as well.

I thought that I heard you laughing,
I thought that I heard you sing,
I even think I thought I saw you cry.

That was just a dream
That was just a dream
That's me in the corner,
That's me in spot light,
Losing my religion

Trying to keep up with you and I don't know if I can do it
Oh no, I've said too much
I haven't said enough

I thought that I heard you laughing,
I thought that I heard you sing,
I even think I thought I saw you cry.

Edit: Yes, so there is indeed a point to this post...Possibly two. A) I'm doing "my thing" like Ian said I should and REM is great.

Anywho, how do I convert MP3 files into .avi files? Umm I'm just trying to be able to play some files that feel like playing in RealPlayer to my playlist on Musicmatch Jukebox.

you don't want to convert them to avis, avi being video. try just dragging and dropping them in, or going to some kind of "open" command in musicmatch.
then if you want it to be more permanent, try right clicking the files and saying open with, then clicking musicmatch if it's there or clicking browse and finding the musicmatch program. then you should be able to make it default.
or, in my computer click tools, then folder options, then go to the file types tab. find mp3 on the list (click on any of the file types and type mp3 to go straight to it), then next to "opens with" click "change", and pick something on this list. you can make it default on this dialog for sure. also check out the "advanced" thing to edit what comes up on the menu when you right click an mp3. you can change the icon in there too, but it's always pretty hard to find the icon you want.

I do not like her solo work one frickin' bit. What happened to her?

When she starts singing on her first single, it's reminds me of "hashpipe" by Weezer and it drives me nuts. I know music sounds the same alot, but when it's so painfully obvious to me, I can't stand hearing it. I've pointed this out to others and they don't agree with me, but I still stand by it.

That new song just doesn't sound like a song. She starts mumbling about bananas or something like that and there seems to be very little actual music in that chalkboard scrathingly annoying chorus. I just hate it. Obviously lots of people love it, but I'm going to be avoiding it as much as possible.
