Two really good bands for me are New Bedlam (who are going to be releasing a DVD soon which I'm in, YES! I'm saying something about
wanting to have the drummers children or some such nonsense, it's all good cause I know him >.> and Poets of the Fall. If you have a
spare minute you should check them out.

ive heard some of Breaking Benjamin's stuff. its pretty good. they came here with Godsmack, and at the end of their set the drummer wouldnt stop
playing, the crew started taking his drums away, but he kept playing. it was pretty cool.

i've heard breaking benjamin's stuff. they've got a altrock vibe to them, in the vein of Trapt. "so cold" is from the
new album but they previously released an album called "sataurate." the songs on there are decent, but forgettable. nothing to write
home about.

they dont fit in a Genre. im kinda over them though, they have been popular for over a year now, and they are way overplayed. here anyway.
im really been getting into Goldfinger these days. if you havent heard of them check em out. they are a High energy Ska/Punk band. really good stuff.

just because slipknot adorn the hoodies of 12-year-old skaters doesn't mean that they aren't any good. "wait and bleed", from
their first album, is a classic track. the whole of their second album, "iowa", is quality, and i'm sure that their third is a
further improvement.
if you're into metal, you should check out killswitch engage's latest offering. it's sexy.

Mmmmm Killswitch Engage! I love their new c.d *sigh*...
The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she
wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect
woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

I believe the genre you are looking for is "terrible".
Although, in all fairness I never really gave them a chance, I also do not plan on giving them a chance. Ever. Pardon my unjust judgement.

Gotta love Slipknot, I'm all for bad music, just don't try and sell it to anyone. Now I must admit that I haven't heard all of
Slipknot's stuff, but what I have heard is simplistic beyond belief, and the whole 9 members thing is just stupid since half of them don't
even do anything. Whatever floats your boat I guess.

there aren't two drummers! there's joey jordison, who bashes the skins, and some percussionist dude who just bounces around looking like a
mong. i think

I'm liking Slipknots new album, especially the slow acoustic ones which you wouldn't expect of them.
I THINK they have one main drummer Joey, and then 2 guys Shaun and Chris that slam on these weird drum things lol.

Good screaming bands are always good. But not pure screaming, like some of the bands @ Masonic. For instance, Thrice is awesome.... As well as a band
called Yesterday's Rising. www.yesterdaysrising.com (there's a link to their mp3 site).
A, wait and bleed style of music (as my friend would describe it)

SLipknots new album (Volume 3: the Subliminal Verses) is not as hard vocally, but still as great instumentally. they don't do nearly as much
screaming, have a few very good acoustic songs, and there isn't one swear ont he entire album. I was quite suprised by the changes, but i like
them
