I can turn waves into MP3s on my computer, because I have lots of cool audio editing software... without the software I am not sure how though. You
might be able to get something like that off the net.
If I get a chance to download it, I will convert it to an mp3, and maybe somehow I could get it back to you afterwards Chris?

umm, on my computer, sometimes i can just re-name the file with a ".mp3" at the end and it works... or if you have iTunes (you can
download it from apple.com) you can convert it once it is in that application. if neither of those work then i have no idea. i cant d/l it yet, i
couldnt get to the site, cause of bandwidth problems, so ill try back in a bit.

It doesn't actually take much time. About a minute, and the computer is doing all the work anyway.

Ian, I can't really say what's wrong. I certainly didn't exceed my limit. If it worked for everyone else, I doubt there is a
problem.
Oh wait, I just checked and it didn't work. I guess you can just try tomorrow.
If what Jorge says is true, and you don't need to download it, then there is no reason to convert it now. Quite a few people have already
listened to it. Thanks for the offer, Rob, but it's probably not necessery now. I appreciate it. And I also appreciate the compliments...if only

The reason the bandwidth keeps being exceeded is because the file is so big. If it were smaller, then it wouldn't shut the site down so often, I
think. Anyone who knows anything about the internet can correct me at any point...

I have that file converted as an mp3, and I also took the liberty to master it a little bit. I don't know if it even matters now, but I did it
anyway. It's well played, Chris, good job. The recording is also better, too. The tone is a lot better. Did you record it twice, and then put
one on the left side, and one on the right?

that means it went over the bandwidth limit from people downloading the big file. that's why you want to make it an mp3. also, if there was
anyone here who was still on dialup, it would take them at the very least 30 minutes to download in its present state. still haven't heard it,
i'll get round to it eventually though.

I'd like to hear this master version, too. There is absolutely no reason why I should mind.
I actually did record the first time on the left channel and the second time on the right. There is those 2 points in the song that requires 2
different parts to be played at the same time to get it to sound right, and that's what I did.
I actually recorded twice on each channel, and the other 2 channels (that you can't hear), have the rest of the song on it. The reason why you
can't hear the rest of the song, is because I recorded it with a 4-track, but when you play a tape with 4-tracks on it in a normal tape player,
you can only hear the first 2 tracks. The other 2 tracks are on the other side of the tape being played backwards...it actually sounds really cool.

Send me the other two tracks and I could put them all together. (If I have correctly understood your setup).

you'd have it made!

Thanks, Ian. Much appreciated.
Rob, I could send you the tracks, but they only play backwards...so if wouldn't work. Plus I find it sounds better with just 2 layers instead of
the 4 that I originally did. If I had a 4-track still, I would make more covers, but I can't.
I'd love to hear your version of "watch it die", Bart. Even if you don't think it sounds very good.
