the guitar is me (my excuse is that i only had time for a couple of takes), the drums, bass and pizzicato strings are synthesised, and the singer is a
guy at my school two years below me.

oh - and i realise some of the vocal rhythms/lyrics are a little different to The Livid's recordings but that's coz the singer had only
heard the tune a couple of times. sounds good anyway, i reckon. he made his own backing vocals tune in the bridge of the song.

That's awesome. There is no need for excuse's. It's sounded perfect to me. This may give me an excuse to put up my version of
"sink" (guitar only). I found a tape the other day where I recorded myself playing it. If I can just remember how to get it onto the
computer from tape, I will do it.

Excelent job Bart. it sounds great! oh reivax, you can just record your "sink" with your computer's internal mic. if that doesnt
work, then you could maybe take it to a music or video place, and they could transfer it to a cd for you. but sometimes that gets a little expensive.
Some things take more than a lifetime.

How do you communicate those emotions that are so intense that no physical expression or series of words can even scratch the surface?

I think I will be able to put my "sink" cover up tomorrow. I was able to hook up a tape deck to the computer, but the cable went out right
before I could record it. How to get it on the internet is another story. I guess I will have to make another angelfire website, seeing as I forgot
the username and password for the other one I already have.
It's not that good of a cover, seeing as it was just a couple takes and it's only really half the song - it ends before that clean tone
part. And I also hadn't heard the song for a while when I recorded it. I just did it by memory. Either way, I'd like to put it up.

yeah i'll put the you're so vain cover up for sure when i get home. i still have to listen to the watch it die one before i decide on that
one though.
yeah everyone post your covers! i can't really offer you all space for them on The Livid's server as we have issues to take into account,
so you're going to have to find somewhere to host them. possibly one of our members here will offer webspace?

I'm working on it right now and, good god, it is a pain in the ass. So, if I can get it up on the site, everyone had better give it a listen!
I was able to get it into WAV format from my tape, now I am trying to get it on an angelfire site, but it isn't uploading for some reason. It is
a big file, but it's not so big that there isn't enough room. I don't get it.

Ouch that singer isn't the greatest. Bart that intro is un-imaginably good. Chris would be proud. You did great on the rest of it by the way. I
just like the intro.

Thanks PIS. I really like the singer actually. The first chorus isn't great, but apart from that...
I actually showed it to Chris already. He liked it. Reivax buddy you can't expect people do download a 12MB wav. Turn it into mp3 somehow if you
can.
