Rob seemed really timid, actually. He didn't say anything or jump around on stage. Maybe he will loosen up a little more when the songs are more
natural, maybe? He played the songs well and not much else to say...maybe he can elaborate more? I could be wrong.
I'm going to get my friend to get those videos he took up on this thread. Bart, if you don't mind doing the whole "temporary access
thingy" with him when he becomes a member. Then you guys can see him playing. The videos look good and even on his camera they sounded better
than mine on the computer, so they should actually be audible this time.
Edit: And I got to say it was hard for me to hear the bass. A mixture of already being deaf from the previous bands and standing in front of the
guitar probably had a part in that. It all sounded fantastic...

I was "keeping an eye" on Rob during the set. I did notice that there was a significant use of the low B string. In fact their newest
song, (which is called "Test Run" by the way) seemed to use that string with extreme prejudice, and as a result sounded amazingly heavy.
As far as the rest of the show goes, I think Chris did a good job summarizing.
It was no problem with the cab, Chris, that would have been a damn long walk... especially at 1:30 in the morning.

Ah that show sounded awesome! It's good to see that they're throwing a lot of new stuff out on the table. It's never bad to try
something new. But the people who went seemed to like it, so bravo. Way to go RobH, that's totally awesome what you did! Much respect... Maybe
even more than the guy on the penny farthing.

Yesterday was the first time I've seen The Livid in a while and I've got to say that they they were AWESOME! When I heard about Christian
leaving, I was kind of disappointed; I was worried that the vocal harmonies that were a staple in The Livids sound would be gone forever. Kudos to
Chris for steppin' up and filling in those shoes. You did an excellent job.
And as for Rob... WOW! The 5 string is a really great addition to the the band. You're also really talented and it's obvious you are much
more serious than the guy you've taken over for. And even though you didn't really move around the stage, your stage presence is
undeniable.
I liked the new songs.. especially the second last one. Can't wait to get that on CD
I do have a few criticisms though. When the intro for SHADED started I was impressed.. Something different and cool to start the show. But about 30
seconds in I got bored of it. Thought the intro went on way to long. Also, I really miss songs like Broke and Crossed and Release. They added a bit
more variety to the set and highlighted The Livid's diversity.
All in all, an awesome show! See you guys next time.

No doubt Rob was a bit more conservative, as it was his first show. W/E, maybe he had a bumb leg.

Sounds like it was a kickass show, even with the 'technical diffies'. Glad to see you enjoyed yourselves, Chris & Rob.
Someone MUST have taken pictures.
And...when's Ish getting his bum back on the site? He hasn't posted in quite a while.

There was a guy taking pictures at the show last night, who, I was informed by Chris, was Ish. So maybe he will come online to show us the pics...

Ish, even with the lack of posts, always seems to come on an show us his pictures.
Like I said my friend took a bunch of videos which should be fun to watch. He took a few pictures, but they weren't very good.
Oh, and there was another guy running around the stage taking a million pictures...I'd like to see some of those. Possibly Xlivid? I dunno...

Chris Schembri did it afterwards. There was a pretty big line up, too. My buddy bought "fear of fading". If only I didn't buy all
that alcohol at the show, I could have a fresh new Livid T-shirt.

Pics were taken by me and ish but they will not be posted on the forum as they will be used to replace old pics on the website and make a new pres kit
without christian and with rob....
i would just like to say that i, being the promoter of the show and having alot of time to kill between sound check and show end, was able to hang
with ROB a bit and he is a very cool guy. He is all about the music and he rocks hard. His musical taste is fantastic and i am sure he will add a new
dynamic to the band.
between me running around the stage and taking all kinds of pics i was able to observe ROB's stage presence and i would just like to say that
the guy might not jump a round like a fool but he did show that he is a man on a mission. don't fuck with ROB... (i think he might be
pack'n heat... hehehe...)
Lastly, to see the livid running smoothly was a joy.... the was no tention with the band and i was clear to me that the band is going full force once
again... look out... they're coming and fast...
I Love this band...

Rob totally seems like a great guy, for sure. I didn't want to downplay his abilities at all, so I hope it didn't come across that way. He
is clearly going to be a great addition to the band.

Roaches Check In, But They Don't Check Out
Good to know I haven't been forgotten here. Really appreciate it everyone. Been really busy, but I should come out of hiatus pretty soon.
My quick recap of the show: I was too busy to give a lot of attention to the brilliance of the performance but I loved Test Run.
Rob is a great dude and will definately mesh perfectly with the band, not that he hasn't already.
I only remembered after I was back in the car that we wanted some pics with the band and fans. My apologies. In the meantime, enjoy a few photos that
turned out well from the show right here.
As a side note, just watching 3DG on the Junos right now. Not much longer till we see our Livid boys there eh?

Hey, guess who's on the right side?
It's Chris(Reivax!)... You can tell that he's in the middle of saying something like, DUDE I LOVE YOU. Something like that.

I thought it was an odd show to be honest. The intro was cool, to an extent, but it went on a bit too long. Maybe cut it down a bit? Loved the fog and
lights though.
Wicked short set though. Was kind of bummed that you guys didn't play Sink.
I don't know what was so different about this show. Someone said something about the basslines having been changed. Maybe that had something to
do with it. I'll get used to it probably, but it threw me at first.
Did someone post the set list yet? There were one or two songs in there I wasn't familiar with.

there were new songs, yes. i take it you did notice the new bassist, or maybe that could be what was so different about this show.
