O-town.
Another band I love to hate.
and...you'll listen to that track if it's the last thing I do. I'll somehow play it for you one of these days.
Ooh, I'll bring my cd player to the show..now that'd be interesting.
I saw Justin after VE had broken up, and he asked if I had somewhere where he could write something, so I gave him this little notebook thing, and he
wrote the mp3.com address to thelivid..and he told me he was with them now, soooo I went and checked out the tunes, but they didn't have his
voice in them since the Jeremy tracks were still up then, so then I was looking through the site and saw the band was mississauga based..and then saw
their mailing address, and recognized it since it's like 3 minutes away from my house...so I started talking to Chris (Schembri) and eventually
I went to the ONE show on halloween..and then that's when I truly became hooked.
I'm probably the worst thelivid fan on this whole site though.
you won't let me down...

He said "do you have a piece of paper"...I didn't know WHAT he wanted it for haha, my wishful thinking made me hope he was gonna
give me his number or something (haha just kidding) so..he wrote the mp3 address for thelivid and the mp3 address for Ryde Dub Syndicate...and then
left a little note about happiness and staying in school..haha.

By the way, if anyone dares bring up Justin Timberlake in this thread (I know at least one of you is thinking about it) I will be forced to bring out
the heavy artillery...and you don't want that..correct? yes indeed.

Does anyone remember that pop group called "Five"? And they had that song "When the lights go out"?
....terrible.
The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she
wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect
woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

They had so many cool songs...(im ashamed to know them all)
like..the last one before they broke up...i dont remember what it's called..but it went
"get on up..when you're down ,baby..take a good look around..
i know it's not much..but it's okay..so keep on moving on anyway.."
yah, i guess it was called "keep on moving"
and there was this OTHER One..where the video was at a haunted house thing..and that one went
"dont wanna let you go..we just wanna tell you..just wanna let you know, that we'll stay around..so what else can you do, you've
said all you had to..we're coming after you..so don't make a sound.."
I think that's how it went..at least.
OMG..I'm gonna go download the songs now..Im too tempted...
damn you paige (shakes fist)

I made my own version of that song..called "slam dunk your 'JUNK'" because we were trying to promote recycling in my
elementary school.
This is back in the day (gr 7..actually) when I used to be a geek who wanted to protect the environment..so I started a friggin RECYCLING commitee
with the approval of the principal.
I still kick myself for that to this date hahaha...
Now when someone says "but what about the universe?" I say "screeeew the universe!" [yes..that was a movie reference if anyone
caught it]

Bewitched
I would say that NSync were terrible, but I thought it was cool with the marionette thing in their first video clip, musically they were shit, but
that clip was cool. Please don't get me started on Justin Timberlake, "I'm going to copy Robbie Williams (who, surprisingly, can
sing) and that other guy (who can't) but do it shit, and go all gangsta up in da hizzouse, YO!"
Just because you can raise your voice 20 octaves so that only dogs can hear you, doesn't make you a good singer.
Here's some more.
Beach Boys *shudders*
Vanilla Ice
Salt 'n' Pepa
Reef (save for ONE song, which is the only one anyone knows, every single other song by them is just off key whining. Actually, so is Place Your
Hands, but it's got itself a cult following now, so go figure).

How exactly do you audition for something like that, anyway? Word of mouth?
Man, Len was bad. I'm probably the only one that was there, but was anyone else at the edgefest in Barrie when Len played? We waited for around
40 minutes in the heat all huddled up for the band to start, but they were having major technical difficulties. It finally got to the point where
people were so mad, that they started booing and hissing and throwing everything they could on stage at them. They proceeded to give us the finger and
walk off. What a waste.
I also heard the same thing happened again at a show later in the festival's dates. The mother fuckers lip-synced anyway.

oh come on, Rush is awesome. Neil Pert - "God on drums"
and i like queens of the stone age a lot.
and i like the white stripes just because of Seven Nation Army. that song rules!
a band that really sucks is "Relient K". a long time ago my friend was like "dude i found out about this band. they're so
cool, i have all their cds." i listened and it was so bad. but they did have a song called "May the horse be with you" which was
humorus... slightly.
