emo is the horriblest word ever used to label a brand of music. like sin said, 90% of the music out there is created and writen based on emotions. in
a technical sense, emo could be used to label most all the music in the world.

this is unbelievable... it hurts to listen to this song. i think we all had our own special connection to this band, and having them go out this much
style and pride is great. every member of the band, past present, and maybe in a twisted VH1 band re-united, future. good luck to all of you, but i
think i can speak for almost everyone, ur fan base has a lifetime membership... so surprise us in 10 years.
*Runs and dives off the cliff only to realize it wasnt a cliff after all but instead the curb of the road* ah well better luck next time

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who thinks "Emo" is a joke of a genre. There was a rant online somplace about Emo
and it was hilarious.. If I find it I'll post it.

heres the thing... yes, all music is emotional. its not the 70's anymore, not all songs are written while on cocain and about happy stuff. but
emo is the genre of a mixture of screamo and punk. if you think of From First To Last, you think emo. even they call themselves emo. emo is more about
looks than the music

Which is retarded because emo isn't a damn look, I blame television for this travesty. But you know what's making things worse, people
still using the term, if no one referred to people as "emo" it will cease to be.
The only real people who can bitch about emo kids are those who just listen to all the booty shaking style rap/hip hop (even gangster rap is outside
this area), you know the stuff, with the video clips that would make even Benny Hill blush.

So sad, yet so beautiful...
but one thing is for sure, when my memory is dead this music will remain in my head.
