you mean tubeless? that's what we call it here. you just pump up the tire directly. it's pretty sweet, but sucks if you do get a flat,
cause you have to buy a whole new tire. but yeah, i have tubless compatable rims, so i may just do that. have you ever used slime tubes? some of my
friends use them, but they never seem to work properly. they still get flats just as much as i do. i used to have some of those needle resistant tubes
on my old bike, but they were more expensive than they were worth.

Can't you just get those tyres that are just all rubber, no tube at all? Although I suppose the ride would be a little less comfortable, though
you'd assume suspension would take care of that.

sin, you could in like 1940. not now.
anyway, PIS, slime tubes are tubes that have a bit of this green slime in them, and the idea is that when you pump them up, if there is a hole, the
slime will cover the whole before much air can escape. it's supposed to work really well, but i've never experienced it. also, it's
a pain because if you have your valve stem at the bottom of the wheel when you try to pump it up, slime squirts everywhere, so you have to make sure
to keep the valve stem on the top of the wheel while you are pumping up your tires.

Yikes.. That's not that big of a hassle, I guess. Why not just make tires out of cement? That's such a grand idea.

why not? It's just a bike anyway, not like it's really useful or anything.

I can be plenty witty on my own. So witty in fact, I intentionally make that previous sentence gramatically incorrect to try and throw you off.

good god. that was a monster of a ride. i almost didn't make it.
after 53 miles, my friend and i had to share 1 water bottle between us for the whole last 7 mile climb. we got so dehydrated that my legs started
cramping up and i could barely ride, and he almost threw up. but we were in the back country with no car access for either the 7 mile hill ahead of
us, or the 10 mile hill behind us and no cell phone service, so we didn't really have a choice but to keep going.
and it was damn hot too. like 90º Farenheight. (you do the conversion).
it was fun but there's no way in hell im doing that ride again.
