everything I ever learned from websters just went right out the window there...
give the guy you like a free coupon for sexcapades at your place and do it infront of your other guy friends, that is sure to make them all know who
you like and don't like in that "special" way

Could always get them a hooker. Or cds. Or just root the guy, like Lois from Family Guy says "You never know who'll end up famous, so just
make yourself available".

"Road Trip to Europe"..haha. One of the best ones, and conveniently enough, it was on last night (again..)
Um, I'm actually still struggling with a birthday present for a guy as well. I have like 5456784 ideas of what to get, but I can't decide
on one, or...two...so, yeah.
For Christmas I also tend to do the cologne thing, or body stuff, because the guys I know tend to like moisturizers and stuff like that.
The thing with CDs is that you never know if someone else already gave it to them, but I personally hate it when someone gives me a gift certificate
to a cd store, because then I get there, and I can't decide on a CD!
On birthdays I give out big, elaborate presents that take me like a couple of months to put together.
When Christmas time comes, it's usually "loot bags" with me. They get a bunch of little things, but every thing has a certain
meaning, and I'll throw in a card and candy cane. My only issue is that my "Cards" turn out to be essays, so I start around the end
of November to write them all to be done before Christmas's present-giving time.
Wow. What a useless ramble.
you won't let me down...

the best presents are always just really really funny, even if they are crap. always a private joke which only a few people will get, but for those
people it will be fantastic. i bought a bunch of comedy beards for all my buddies who played cards in breaks at school - the beardy crew. they went
down a treat. had to match the beard to the right person, and they looked very very amusing.
and i bought one guy the original red baron game, in its original box, with maps and everything. it's so old, it was quite difficult to find.
but that was a private joke so you guys won't see the point. it was a good present though.
but if there's no private joke you can exploit an amusing t-shirt is always good.
booze is another good one - getting beer for christmas is great.
or just something small - food. biscuits. chocolate covered raisins. i love those. i have a feeling some of my flatmates will buy me pineapples for
christmas because they always see me adding copious pineapple chunks to pizzas or drinking glass after glass of pineapple juice. and i'd love
pineapples for christmas!

Wow. I acutally just watched that episode and heard that line right before I sat down on the computer. Weird.
I personally don't buy friends presents. It gets waaay too expensive if you do that. Just keep it to girfriend/boyfriend and family and
that's plenty.
I've already spent nearly $700 on Christmas and that's just for my family and girlfriend.

yeah i only have 3 or 4 friends that i exchange presents with. As you said Chris, it can get way to pricey.

I don't spend money on myself, so the present giving just comes naturally, I guess.
If I'm not spending it on birthday/christmas gifts, I'm letting people borrow it, or I'm using it to buy stuff that will help
promote bands, haha.
However, you make quite a valid point. And I agree, it does get quite expensive, but, I don't think about my own needs too often so it's
fine.

I don't see that as being selfless, but..okay?
And, it's not overdoing it. There's certain people here who can testify to that, haha. Not that we need them to come clean or anything.
I just don't see a point in buying stuff for myself when I could be doing something better with it.

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she
wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect
woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

I can imagine getting this really huge box like 5ft tall (I'd convert that to metric...but I dunno how) and 5ft wide. Big bow and everything and
by the time you dig down to it you find a can of budweiser haha. I say budweiser cause that the beer of choice among the majority of the white trash
population here in Arkansas.

no way, in a present that big you could have a whole fridge full of carling like on the advert when he finds it on the beach. then you have to make a
contraption to power it up, and make the crab run the treadmill to get it going.
