Christmas
So, since Christmas is about a week and a half away, I figure there should be a thread for it. Anything about it can be mentioned in here.
It actually surprises me that no one has even discussed the holidays yet.
Anything exciting happening for anyone? It wont be quite the best Christmas for me since the girlfriend is going home for Christmas and I
couldn't afford to go with her. That would have been fun.

This christmas is going to suck. My cousin Lauren isn't coming down from Cornwall and she's the only person I can actually stand in my
family. Oh, and my family is pretty much canceling christmas. My aunt Kathy says she isn't buying anyone any gifts because she wants to save
money, and convinced my aunt Carol to do the same. So now my mom isn't buying anything for them and she says she's not going to have my
cousin Adam's birthday party at our house like we do every year because they didn't show up for her birthday. It's war I tell you!
The only thing I really wanted for christmas was a season of Sex and the City on dvd, and I can't even get that because my mom doesn't
like me watching it so I have to buy it with my own money. *Sigh*....at least I get 2 weeks off school!
The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she
wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect
woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

Oh, I get two Christmas'. Oh, how I love having a little brother that still believes.
I don't really want to get into the particular reasons I'm having two Christmas days, for the sake of others.

Rumour has it I'm getting Paul Frank jammies..
When it comes to Christmas, I must say this year I'm very "bah, humbug" about it.
As much as I don't want to get into it I'll just say thinking about Christmas time doesn't bring the fondest memories since a lot of
crap has happened.
BUT! I am done all my Christmas shopping since like November. So that's nice, I just haven't wrapped anything yet, so I guess I should get
to it. My wrapped gifts look too Martha Stewart-ish, except I can't do it in 5 minutes like she does, it takes me like 15..
When it comes to the forums, it's nice to see that most of the people that were around last Christmas are still around now, and what's
even nicer is that I'm still talking to most of these people. So thanks to almost everyone for being so great, and hopefully you'll stick
around for aonther year.
you won't let me down...

I'm glad for time off work!! I'm not doing anything however, I could if I wanted to. And I love giving presents. I tend to go a bit
overboard with gifts.
And Paige if you were my friend I'd buy you one of the Sex and the City seasons. That would be less embarrassing than what I bought my friend
for her birthday...Buffy season 1. ha ha

Oh come on, Krista! Of course we are friends! We're tight like bark on a tree, yo. Now gimme me present! haha
If you think Buffy season 1 is embarrassing, then you should know that my Grandma told my mom, who told me that she got me Xena on dvd. She said she
remembered I liked it when I was little. Yay? Let's all get together and watch it and do crazy battle cries.

Chris, you can still wrap small gifts. They just require a box of UN-HEARD OF BIGNESS! Then fill the massively huge box with lots of toilet paper and
newspaper. Yay!

that's the way to go PIS. i almost always do that to my friends. last year, i got one of my friends some concert tickets, and put em in a box
the size of my desk, and just filled it with packing penuts. i couldn't fit it through his doorway.
Some things take more than a lifetime.

Haha that's awesome. My bosses nephew was having a birthday in one of the team suites at the Hershey Centre, so the team decided to sign a new
jersey for 'em. Instead of putting it in the given bag, we stuffed it into the largest box I've ever seen and had the zamboni drive out
onto the ice with it, after the game. It was an awesome present for him, none the less.

Xena?? Awww poor Paige!
Gift certificates make me feel cheap I dont know why, but its weird for me.
For the box idea, grab like 4 boxes (they have to fit in side each other), put the gift in the smallest box wrap that, put something in the next bow
like packing peanuts put the wraped gift in that box wrap it, and so on until you get to the last box.
The looks in peoples eyes when they think they are gettin a huge gift... hahaha memorable.

i got something for a flatmate off ebay. cocked up though. meant to place a bid and pressed "buy it now" by accident. to make it worse, i
then confirmed it. ah well, it was only a couple pounds more than what i was going to bid.
