Unless you said what you didn't want to, then it could be the wrong thread, but since you're typing you pretty much have to want to say what you type so this is a moot point really, but still interesting to ponder.

I should really use more full stops and less commas.

So how was everyone's saint patrick's day? Mine was pretty crazy. There was this party at my friend's house and it kind of sucked but I made it better by drinking alot. Brittni fell on me and she was crushing me so I told her to move and as she was getting up she "accidently" hit me in the mouth with a bottle of peach shnapps and chipped my tooth in half. I felt my tooth shatter in my mouth. Lovely. I look like a hillbilly. Now I get to go see a dentist and get my tooth capped! Woo? Maybe I should just pull it and get a gold tooth cause I'm so pimp! ...no. I also have a hickey on my arm cause some chick bit me, and a bruise on my back from tripping over this ice hill. All in all, crazy night. I miss my shattered tooth pieces.

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

yeah. i'd been meaning to make a new one for ages and thought i'd kick myself up the ass by deleting the old one. but it hasn't worked: i'm quite liking the "broken image" pic at the moment.

Woo, I preordered Resident Evil 4, it comes out this Thursday (I get a cool "making of" disc too cause I preordered), I also picked up Dark Side of the Moon finally and the Dire Straits best of, since I couldn't pick which album I wanted.

On the negative side of things, on the way back from said purchases I went to change gears and heard a really loud snap. The clutch then decided to stay down for the rest of the trip to the repairer, people get pretty pissed when you roll down a busy street in first with your hazards on. If the clutch needs replacing it'll be 900 bucks, if it's just the master cylinder, or, god willing, something even minorer (look at me and my word making up self), it'll be at max about 400.

Well, that's just kicked my chance at getting a new car stereo in the near future. Damn cars.

Yup. Cars suck. No doubt about that.

Resident Evil has been out for a couple months here already, but I haven't played it yet. Oddly enough, I was going to rent it today, but I forgot to go to the video store when I went out.

Later, I was reminded that the PSP will be coming out on Thursday, so I started to think of any way I could get my hands on it, because the demand is going to be huge. So, I went to Blockbuster and, lucky for me, they still had a few copies left that I could reserve, so I put a downpayment on getting myself a PSP on Thursday. I'm so excited, that thing is going to be amazing.

I'm looking into getting a DS, but I'm going to wait until some actual good games are released, like Castlevania and NFSU2. I like the concept so far, but the games are just crap at the moment (some of them look interesting, but not worth a 60 buck price tag).

PSP looks sweet too, but I can only get one and I figure eventually the DS will have tons of exclusive games. I'm really peeved about the price hike in terms of handhelds these days though, and games in general. If I didn't know it cost millions to make a games (some getting upwards of hollywood movie style budgets) I'd complain to someone too.

As far as renting GC games for me, I cannot find a single video store around me that has them. NONE. I even tried stores that were like 20 minutes away, and still nothing.

You can't rent games around you? That sucks. Every single place around here rents games. Blockbuster seriously boosted their videogame sections too. I just have to walk for 3 minutes and I'm at a store where I can rent games.

I have a DS, and like you said, the games are pretty lackluster. It's sad that it's been out for 4 months a the PSP (which isn't out yet) already has more games. Imo, there are only 2 games worth owning for the DS, and that's pretty bad. Mario 64 can only be beaten by me so many times, before I get tired of it.

I'm thinking about trading the DS towards the final price of the PSP when I get it, and just buy a DS later when it has better games. By ends year Animal Crossing, Mario Kart and Castlevania will be out, and I'll be content with it. Plus, getting a DS for 120 dollars on ebay is really easy nowadays. They are really inexpensive already.

Nintendo DS is exactly that, the Nintendo DS. It actually stands for Dual Screen, latest handheld game machine from Nintendo, incorporates a dual display touch screen system.

PSP is the Playstation Portable, the portable system Sony have released. It's graphically superior, nice widescreen display and stuff.

More like the PS2 handheld. Well, the graphics are slightly worse, but not by much.

I've noticed that the PSP graphics are far superior than I anticipated. I looked at alot of screen comparsions, and at this point the PSP games are graphically the same as first-gen PS2 games. It's amazing.

Some pics, Bart. Actually that pic of the PSP seems to be about actual size.
