another from homestar is "the kinda long haired band", and i think that's just great.
but slip "armour" in your band name somewhere - it is definitely a good middle name and so logically it would be a good middle bit of a
band name.

depends what kinda music/lyrics....like a name like fragmented hearts isn't good for someone whose singing about killing people
How do you communicate those emotions that are so intense that no physical expression or series of words can even scratch the surface?

Unless they put their hearts in blenders. Then it works.
You could also go the random route and just look around till you see a word that really catches you and use that. Seems to be how a lot of bands get
their names.

or maybe they feel bad about killing people...
but that's what im thinking, sin. just thought i'd see what you guys think... anyway, our drummer described it as similar to incubus/the
livid. i dunno, i guess that they are my biggest inspirations, so it would make sense that whatever i write would come out that way. but we
aren't playing anything super heavy, it's a little more toned down.

Wisp
the great story behind such an awsome name is.....dumdumdumdum dedummmmm....its your avatar >.>
I'm sitting here thinking right in the middle of some nasty thunderstorm. Everytime lightning crashes and an old mother dies, it scares me
>.> I keep imagining a nuke crashing down whiping out a three mile radious and being the real reason behind those massively humongous nastified
crashing thunder sounds.
So anyway, sitting here listening to the sounds of thunder, really loud thunder, gave me another idea. The Big Bang Theory. Or maybe shorten it to
just Big Bang Theory or maybe just call yourselves Slap Face or not even have a name at all. You can be a symbol, or rather, an
emoticon...

well, he's written all the lyrics to our songs, so i think it would be a bad idea to ditch him... plus he's my good friend, and we were
friends before we decided to try and form a band.

I'm all for you guys calling yourselves ':.dez.:'
after all..there IS a driving school in Hamilton called 'Say Dez' (I think they used a 'z'...not sure.)
If you guys do emo music, you should be called paperheart or something..I could go into a whole crazy theory which would be weird enough to make
sense.
paper can be easily crumpled, people waste it, abuse it, soak it in water till the ink fades, burn it, throw it around, did I say crumple it?
So it's like a metaphor for a human heart, and how people can abuse it and hurt you, maybe not physically, but EMOtionally.
Nice.
I hope that made some sense.
and, just for extra pizazz...call it "paypurr <3" like the cool kids would say.

too much explination, keep it simple and just have a name with no real meaning or atleast a short meaning like the name : dez : ... you'll be on
vh1 one day doing an interview and they'll ask and you simply say "i knew someone named dez, the :'s are just for fun"
"What are you doing?" >.>

no the :'s are what make it bounce around.
sorry Dez. we're not really into the whole "emo" thing, but that is a good name.

Charles.
There's your band name, now use it. If anyone asks how you got it, just tell them "The guy on the Internet made me do it". Short,
quirky, while also being mysterious and edgy. It works on so many levels it makes things with lots of levels seem like they have less.

Emo is by far the worst genre ever.
However... Packing My Golf Clubs For War
That's a stellar name. You could be all like war-ish or anti-war. I dunno. Or you could just use it as a funny name.
