here is my shot at it...i'm not too happy w/ the way it turned out but its just kind of a rough draft. i dont consider myself real good w/
graphic designing and what not but i wont get better unless i keep at it.
its not exactly poster size, its only 800x600 right now, bg size for ppl who use 800x600 resolution

its kinda hard to get ahold of pics to use. even the ones from the site since its all in flash. u cant just right-click and save the pic. but i
remembered what the picture directory was called and all since i was lucky enough to get a "sneak peak" at the website and all. so it
wasnt TOO hard to get these pics

i have those pics too. well, just the pic, not the white border w/ The Livid written on the bottom and what not. I have all the pics that are being
hosted on the site. not all of them are shown in the flash deal though.

errr n/m that, i thought i had them, but they werent in the pics directory. i just went through all the pics and started saving them, i didnt pay any

Not really related to this thread, but I didn't realise till just now. Seeing those pics was the first time I've seen what the band look
like.
I just listen to the music. Couldn't really care less what they look like...but saying that, they do look good!

n/m about needing the jpg's, i converted them myself to jpg. but it would be nice if u attached them as jpg, they load so much faster

i modified it just a bit, added a promo pic rather than the live pic of the whole band. still not quite what i wanted...i think maybe i shouldnt have
made the promo pic part so transparent, i may go back in and make it stand out more...dunno yet

This forum will only let you attach certain filetypes, and bmp is not one of them. Every file uploaded to the site so far has been a jpg. That
includes those promo pics which mark posted. When you click save, Internet Explorer converts them to bmp. I don't know why. Something to do with
the fact that the attachments are not stored in a folder on the server but encoded in the forum database. I don't understand it, but the upshot
is that you will have to convert them yourself.
Alternatively, take a look in the pics folder, where you will find jpgs.
I will post a big The Livid logo, along with the dragon a little later tonight for anyone who wants to enter this competition.
For showing people on the board, attach your pic with the logo and a made-up date so we can see what it would look like, but keep a copy without this,
which you can send us if you win. We'll stick the logo on and all that stuff. (But if you want to use the logo in the background like Adidas has
done, then go right ahead.)

thought of when he said "poster". and aside of that, i know my pics are not poster-like to begin w/. i just posted a cpl of pics to get
some opinions on. if ppl like what it is so far then i can continue w/ it and make it look better (more like a poster) if not, then i trash it. but

i did it that way on purpose, but yeah, i can stretch it back to norm
i dont have but a few pics to work w/, so by doing little things (such as changing size) to a pic just gives it a little bit more of a custom feel to
it...if that makes any sense at all to you
