Yeah metallica are awesome. Haven't seen them live yet but hopefully will in august, at Reading rock festival in England. My favourite metallica songs are Master of Puppets and Enter Sandman.

The S&M album is great, i'm not too keen on the other stuff - it sounds empty.

Metallica are amazing. I'm learning how to play all their leads now, cuz I wasn't good enough to play them properly when I was really into them.

Jeff, you're my buddy and everything but you have a serious case of Metallica Worshiper's Denial. That Frantic song sux man. I've been listening to old Metallica all week, and that stuff is the best shit ever. It's 3:30 am and I just finished learning that ripping solo in One. I know it's hard, but let it go man. Nobody can be the best forever. Don't hate me for this post. See you Friday I hope.

'Until it Sleeps' and 'For Whom The Bell Tolls' are my fave Metallica songs.

I have never seen them live, but might go to Reading Festival this year, they're are the only band i'd make the effort to go see there.

metallica are awesome. ive got all there albums and they are all wicked. eye of the beholder is a good song, and the one im listening to right now. creeping death is another of the best.
s&m is good, but its not the best they ever did. some songs are improved loads, especially for whom the bell toll. others are worse though, like master of puppets and battery.

"Kill em all" is the best album

Hands down.

And as for the single "st anger" I just watched the video and thought it was a good tune, and it should do really well in the charts all over the world.

But the other tune "frantic" just isnt up to scratch..

I'm still gonna buy the Album, and it probally gonna be great !

I mean think of the red hot chillis ... Their music has just got better and better ....

Hey Schembri, you should learn the first solo in Orion, I reckon it's one of Kirk's best sounding. Me and two mates played that song during lunch at school, it was mad.

Oh, and for RHCP their albums, while still good, have been getting progressively worse. Thing is there's always a handful of songs that save each album from being crap. Oh, and I think their best is Mother's Milk, some of the songs on that are true masterpieces.

ive ordered they new metallica album, from what ive heard of it, it sounds wicked. it got 9 out of 10 in metal hammer, so it cant be bad.

i dont reckon rhcp have got better, the new albums boring. i have to listen to it every day on the way to school too, cos' my dads got it. luckily, hes just got the new matrix album, which should be slightly more exciting.

Chris, maybe I do have some denial going on. I'm not saying I enjoy new Metallica because I'm trying to keep up some illusion of them being the best in my head. I actually do like the new stuff. I've been listening to the new single non-stop.

There's just something about that band that I can't get enough of. I respect the fact that people don't like their new stuff.

Keep in mind that Metallica has been called sellouts since they released Ride the lightning, it's nothing new. I'm just saying that I love Metallica. If that's denial, then I guess I'm in denial.

Speaking of Denial. You should rework that song, it was good however simple it was.

I hate people who refer to bands as "sellouts". Gee, that band is trying to make money, they suck! I mean seriously, Metallica just grew up, they realized thrash wasn't going to get them where they wanted to be so they altered their style.

Still doesn't mean I like what I've heard of the new album, but I guess I should reserve my judgement for when I own it.

Note: Yeah yeah, rework Denial, that song kicks some serious arse, I'd love to hear it with the new band.
