Chris' NEW band and record - Signal to Strike
Hi all:
Like many of you, I was a huge Livid fan for many years. Chris and I have been friends since the late 90's and have always admired
eachother's music.
Surviving the Storm (now known as Signal to Strike) has completed recording our first EP. We recorded it at MDS studios with Murray Daigle. In
addition, the tracks were produced by Shane Told of Silverstein.
I can tell you all, right now, that you wont be let down. We have spent a long time crafting these songs.
We will make make another annoucement when the tracks are available. A new myspace and website are on their way.
James.

What have you heard? Or are you referring to "circuit"? I still check this site a few times a week in hopes for some sort of update. I
need to get back into this community.

there's a coming soon page so far! http://www.signaltostrike.com (plus i can tell you that the site is going to be badass. and the admin section
of it is awesome, but you guys won't see that. doesn't mean i can't tell you how good it is.)
promo packs are in circulation -- a little red bag with the logo containing a sticker and a cd with two tracks. (i did the art.)
they're playing a show at healey's in toronto on the 15th -- details on that coming soon page. the ep should be on sale there, for which i
did all the artwork. hopefully the disc will line up properly on the digipak and it'll look awesome...
it'll also be on sale on the site, and downloadable tracks too. my exams finish this thursday -- after that i'm going to celebrate. after
that i'm going to try and get the site done soon since i'm off to turkey for a week at the end of the month.

That's the best news I've heard in a while. I will be at that show guara-fucking-teed. Bart, you're the king, man.
Give me/us the heads up when there's an active forum. Wanna be one of the first members.

know.
i hit 3500 or so on tetris the other day -- am i approaching you yet?

Yes, brother. You've probably beat me.
You know when the last time I played that game? When you were here. I think my top is roughly 3000.
Congrats. We have a new winner.
I'll see what I can do about bringing a video camera to the show. Try and get good quality video and audio of the show that I can send your
way. I know the rules about sharing with other people, so don't worry.

How do you communicate those emotions that are so intense that no physical expression or series of words can even scratch the surface?

any possibility of them playing another show on the 28th, 29th, or 30th of june? cause I'm going to be in Toronto for that weekend and I would
die to see chris perform.
But, yeah, I'd also like to hang out with you all if you are going to be in town that weekend. maybe we can have a forum gathering in TO one
day/night. let me know

I hope for your sake they do play another show. That'd be pretty amazing.
I think at some point meeting up should be inevitable. Where abouts in Toronto are you staying and why?

Well my dad is going to this technical conference about media preservation, and he asked me if I wanted to come along and just wander around the city
for a few days and I said 'hell yes'. I have no idea where we're staying though.

Cool. I asked 'cause I was wondering if maybe it were for school, or something. Are you old enough to drink here yet?
Question about this concert. Are you positive the date is accurate and everything? I only ask because there's no information for this concert on
the bars website. Don't want to get screwed and show up and nothing's going on. Happened recently to me.

appreciate it.

Realistically, I'll probably pick up 4 or 5. I'll definitely grab one for you. Even if for some reason we can't meet up, I'll
ship it to you. I don't want any money.
I think it's funny that I've yet to even hear any of the music. Better be good.
