I wouldnt consider myself old (only 19 years old) but i can remember back before there were cd players and cds and all u could get were
tapes...although shortly after the very few memories of there not being cd players and such, they all sprang outa the ground and said HEY I"M A
CD BUY ME NOW and i said OK, but i couldnt play it cause i didnt have a cd player...i thought i did, but then i realized cds and records were not the
same thing
err oh yeah, first cd...ummm musta been one of the Beach Boys cd's. i dont remember which one, but the Beach Boys were the first band i ever
liked when i first started really getting into music. my dad liked them and listened to them alot so i got into them too. i quickly ended my
oldies/classic rock stage and moved into rap, and i'm almost embarassed to even mention that i ever liked rap. and then i finally found rock,
modern/alternative rock.

i got into metal/rock my listening to my dads overkill lp by motorhead, so the first cd i got was the closest thing id heard of at the time, which was
the fat of the land by the prodigy. then i started to get into heavier stuff, and now have about 40 cds of heavy metal and thrash. which is nice.

My first CD was the 1996 Grammy Nominees, only for Alanis Morisette because it was cheaper than Jagged Little Pill.
Oh and Coolio was big a the time
First full length album was Matchbox 20's Yourself or Someone Like You. Man I love that disc. I just saw them for the first time last night.
They kicked!!

I remember those Now compilations. They were just as dumb as those Awesome, 2 Awesome, and Awesome 3.
But not as bad as Tarzan Dan's Hit List CD... oy my stomach is churning. Am I only the only person in the GTA doesn't like Crap92?
