Dream Interpretations
Hey everyone!!!
I thought I'd start a thread as soon as I got back, and well..the time has come.
While I was on the plane I jotted down different ideas for a thread..this is just one of them.
Have you ever had a really funny/scary/weird/cool dream? Maybe you'd like to share it with the rest of the crowd, (if you want to, there is no
obligation)
Also, I find that dreams always mean something..and sometimes it can be qutie obvious or hard to figure out what our dreams could mean.
So, if anyone feels that they'd like to comment on one of their dreams and have it "interpreted" I think it would be kinda cool.
My mother is a psychologist, so I'm actually good at helping out with this stuff.
Again, you don't NEED to do this.
I agree that people's privacy should be respected, and dreams can sometimes be very personal. So, if you want to..type it up, if not you could
always just read everyone else's and help out with the interpretation.
Take care guys,
Dez
you won't let me down...

You wouldn't be necessairly staring at the screen if you looked up, thus missing Chris' post. But why do I keep going into this go-karting
place and there's a pool instead of a track.. then I end up dying in the water??? It seems to be re-occouring.

How do you stop nightmares? Or more specifically work-mares? I've been having a lot of those lately. Damn overtime!!
can I find my faults // leave them and start // to find myself?

Chris, you're too smart for me hunna...You're right, looking up would in fact make me look at the ceiling..but, what if I slightly move my
eyesight from the point I am focusing on now, a little bit higher up? That would make my eyes meet with Chris' post.
Anyway...
-Go karting dream:
Since I don't know the whole dream it's kinda hard to make an evaluation but I gotta ask you first ..Do you enjoy go karting? I mean is it
something you frequently do or something?
The reason why you see a pool instead of a track is because you are seeing difficult tasks ahead of you that seem "impossible"
(think about racing a go kart on a pool)
You end up drowning in the pool because you feel overwhelmed about something right now, even though you might not think you are..
Maybe it's school , your family or something that has to do with yourself or the people around you.
-DeeDee:
I've had dreams about Justin Timberlake..will I share them? HELL NO.
Ahh..memories...
Ish:
-You can't stop nightmares just like that..
Unless you can work on completely clearing your mind before you go to sleep..(takes a lot of meditation and concentration but it does work) That way
you can release all of your stress and it won't "haunt " you in dreams.
Everything that happens in a nightmare is reflecting an aspect of your life, I think that precisly because you are doing overtime you are more
vulnerable to have dreams in which the stress you're feeling takes over.
I think that all made sense..if not I'm sorry guys!
you won't let me down...

i dreamt that my friend and i were walking through a neiborhood of mansions and there was water flowing strongly everywhere, through the streets and
up over the houses and it was so awesome. then we got to his house and there was a little beer fridge stocked with beer and stuff, so we started
drinkin a beer and then we had to leave for some reason, so we put our half beers back in the fridge and left walking through the streets again, then
we got to highway 401 and were waiting to run across, after we ran across, we went to another friends house who had the same beer fridge, and it was a
teleporter beer fridge cuz when i opened it and looked inside, there was our half beers. then i was all excited about this teleporter beer fridge.
then i just wanted to teleport eveything i coud find, including myself all over the place. but i woke up before i could do it. is it bad when you
dream about beer??

It's not bad to dream about beer, because really "beer" is something else.

I just think that the whole teleporting thing with beer means something else, I don't really know much about you..but my educated guess is that
"beer" is really something you find amusement or comfort in (it is not literally drinking beer) and it's something that seems to be
waiting for you wherever you go..and the fact that it's the same fridge it's that it's the same thing..
The reason why the houses were overflowing with water..is because you were leaving behind something that was troubling/stressing you..
You crossed the 401:
That just means that you're doing something daring and exciting but at the same time it also means that you are/have/will succeed/succeeded at
something that was difficult to do. (think about the logistics of crossing the 401)

I already interpreted this one with the help of my psychiatrist..but! I thought I'd share one of my dreams, it's only fair.
I dreamt that my parents had dropped me off in my house, said they would be right back.
I walked inside my house and all the lights were out, all the bulbs were broken, there was a single circle cut into each glass window and all the
curtains had a black stripe of paint going down them, there was mud everywhere and my fridge was open, when I walked to the fridge there were 2
corpses of 2 women inside, when I opened the fridge door, both fell at my feet. When I picked up the phone to call the police there was no tone and a
voice said "You have 3 minutes to get out of your house" I said "Or what" and all of a sudden my living room caught on fire
and as I looked my brother was hanging from something, with no eyes.
Doors were locked and I couldn't get out of my house, I jumped out a window and died in my dream.
Then woke up.
