Electric Guitar- It would have to be One by Metallica- for the meaning behind the intro and that shiznat.
Acoustic Guitar- Layla by Eric Clapton
On the trumpet(when I did play it)- Mission Impossible theme.

That is a really tough question. I play guitars only.
But for bass guitar the question is simple: Anesthesia by metallica/Cliff Burton...If anyone has not heard this song, give it a listen, you've
never heard bass like that.
And for guitar, to be honest, it's hard to say, since I have grown out of the "play songs by other artists phase". But I do know
that I have always loved playing the "Alive" by pearl jam solo. I played it all the time for the first 4 or 5 years of playing.
Whenever I play my 12 string the best song to play is "the world I know" by collective soul. That song can only be played on 12
string...oh, and winter solstice by tea party...best, song, ever.
Weird, now that I'm really thinking about it, it's really coming back to me.
3 songs in particular by silver that are so much fun to play are "madman", "emotion sickness" and
"findaway"...really the whole frogstomp CD is so much fun to play. I don't care how simple it is, because Daniel Johns is a genious,
imo.
"Torn" by Creed is near the number one most played song by me in my guitar playing days.
And a few others like "Orion" by metallica and "crystal planet" by Joe Satriani....but don't get me started on Joe
Satriani...
I know you said our favourite but it's probably pretty hard to pick just one.

on bass, this funky cover of master of puppets done by primus. just the slap at the start. any slap bass is good fun.
on guitar, watch it die (and all the other livid songs i can play) and death blooms by mudvayne. and the solo of driver by pitchblend.

On bass, Moonlight Sonata by Stu Hamm, Anesthesia (even though I can only play the first 3 minutes), the Seinfeld theme and the Pink Panther theme all
come to mind.
On guitar, Nothing Else Matters, since it's the only song I've really learned on guitar.
I also enjoy playing Linus and Lucy and Space Dementia (by Muse) on Piano.

Question for the guitar players.... Is there a chord formation for the intro to the first solo in Master of Puppets?? It would make it alot easier to

I'm a bit confused about your question, pure_Ibanez. Do you mean is there a easier way to play that part that you tabbed out? Or is there
something else that goes along with that? So if what your asking is what chords can you strum instead, I guess you could do this:
Em, D, Cadd9, Amsus2, B7 and B7/D#
but that's just basically strumming instead of picking what you already know. And no, there is no other rhythm section during the solo other
than that part. Hope that helps.
Hey, Sin Ogaris, you got some good taste. I saw Stu play that live on the Joe's EOC tour. Well, his whole solo was just amazing. That man can
play anything on a bass. I even heard him do a madonna cover once.

Thanks Reivax, that partially anwsered my question.
I meant is there any chord formation that would help me w/ the left hand fingering in that part? Could I use the above chords that you listed to pick
the certain strings? Hopefully that makes more sence.

Oh, I see what you mean. Yes that is basically exactly the positions your fingers should be in at each change. I guess that's all I can
say...tell me how it works out. What is your name, btw. It feels weird typing Pure_Ibanez_sound.
