Does anyone know yet when the Livid are going on? I have an exciting game of whirley ball which could go to 10:30, but I still hope to make it.

I just wanted to point out on friday following the livid's performance it is Edge102 new rock night with brother bill... so its not a waist of
time if you just make it out for the second half of the livids set or something... the party is just beginning.
So everybody over 19.... you must come out

what is this 279. Is it a good venue? How far away is it from union station? Im taking the train, so I am a bit curious. Also, how many people do you
think will be there, approx. And how long should they play?

Prepare for a few answers:
Club 279 is an excellent and kind of unique venue. Its on top of the Hard Rock Cafe and Yonge and Dundas. Great sound, amazing lighting and places to
sit if you're tired, bored, hungry or wasted.
Honestly you could walk from Union Station. Go east from Union towards Yonge, and walk north about 7 or 8 blocks.
By 10pm you'll have maybe under 70-80 people. I've never actually stayed for the clubbing portion of the night. That's what the
Phoenix on Saturday night is for.
Not sure about set length though. They could play up to 9 songs for 45 minutes max.

they should be playing for about 45 mins... and there should definitly be more than 80 people there... there are two other bands playing before whom
will also be bringing peeps to the show...

No, the performance won't be on the radio. Edge 102 just does a broadcast from Club 279 starting at 11:00. From my experience its nothing
special. As I recall from the Idle Sons/Walkers Line/Pettit Project show a few weeks ago I heard very little new rock at all.

A very very sweet venue... I haven't been to many nicer venues as far as sound and atmosphere go... which is pretty much all that matters.
