I was, but me and the lead guitarist had a falling out, so I left the band.

I have played in a few bands over the years, mostly lead or rythem guitar, but I played drums in a couple of them.
As far as organizers and such, most were just club owners, Bars and such.
As far as Bio goes the last band I played with was called Open Closure but unfortunately due to time restraints and the fact that 1/2 the band lives
in London, it has been difficult to keep at it consistantly.
all we have for a Bio is a page, www.openclosure.net
and on there is an acoustic cover of Leader of Men by Nickelback, feel free to check it out if you like. we cut the track for a promo c/d that was
distributed for nothing before one of our shows. its just me and our vocalist but I don't think its that bad. If you check it out let me know
what u think
Tks
I was created by Echo, but destroyed by Design

Can't say I'm in a band, but I do write music. I only play guitar, I can't sing at all. And even if I could sing, I cannot sing and
play at the same time for some reason.
I write relatively mellow music, but at the same time pretty complex somtimes. Some of it would be pretty hard to play if you don't know the
song very well. One of the reasons I haven't joined a band is because I feel there isn't really anyone out there that compliment the style
of music I write. I wish I had some drum beats and, even though I couldn't imagine, words. That would be great if someone could sing something
cool over my songs, but I couldn't even begin to imagine that. But for the time being I am content with what I am doing. Until that changes, I
probably will not seek out other players.
I believe there is a link to some of my music in my profile.
Ya, I just checked and the link is there. I haven't been on the site since I made it. And I just realized it may sound a bit cocky to say that
it's complex, I guess what I mean is it's different. I try to use uncommon chords, I use a few octaves here and there, but rarely do I use
chords regularily used in mainstream music. And I have a weird finger pick style that I use alot, it's I guess a way to compensate for not
having a bass player. Sometimes it sounds like there is more than one guitar when there is only one.
I listened to the leader of men, heart. It was good. Not too bad at all.

Yes, Westpoint's site was just updated... today I think... How exciting. Can't wait for you guys to get back "in the saddle"
so to speak, Jeff. It's been too long.
I was in a band called "Fortune's Fool" just over a year ago, and we did a demo CD thingy. Although we haven't played together
in a year we are going to try to do another CD next summer, pretty exciting! For the present, I am in a "band" which has no bassist or
drummer with a guy from school. We are just finishing a 6 song disc, which I have posted a couple tracks from on another thread.

my friend and i are trying to start a band. we both play guitar, and i sing. i guess that you could say i play rythm and he plays lead, but
that's not exactly true. I do play alot of riffs and stuff, but my style is a bit more structured, and his is a bit more... not. and his style
is a bit funkier. it sounds preaty cool though. he also has a drummer who is interested, but no bassist yet. we dont have a name, or any complete
songs, but we have some good starts. it could be a while though.

Bassists are sketchbags... no offense to bassist... I am one on sometimes.
It's hard to find someone to play bass.

Ya, Rob's stuff is pretty good. I have yet to listen to your stuff, Jeff. I will soon.
I don't think I could play bass all the time. It's too damn boring. I think it helps if you learn to play six string before you start to
play bass, then coming up with more original bass lines may come easier. That's how it is for me, anyway. Most bass players out there just
follow the guitar line or the kick drum. For example, Chris from Silverchair. One of the best bands that has the worst bass player. And Chi from
Deftones...fuckin' useless. Other than that one song from Adrenaline, I don't think there is one significant, original bass lines in that
band.

Bass is only boring if you are just playing the roots. There is so much that can be done on a bass, but rarely is. I am not good enough to speak
eloquently on the topic, but I love playing bass and messing around with different things. Unfortunately the stuff I would play on bass is generally
incompatible with singing at the same time.

Well, I didn't want to downplay the importance of bass. Because I agree 100% how important it is. And the possibilities are quite endless if you
know how to use it right.
Chris may be a solid player, but definitely has no originality or creativity.
I may know little about drumming, but I think ben is fantastic. Always have.
