Why?
Why?
this topic is for questions you want to ask but don't want to make a whole new topic to ask it likei had to
so what i wanna ask is why the black eyed peas new video is dedicated to the poeple who were effected by the BC fires this summer? the song is called
shut up and from what i understood it was about telling your boyfriend/girlfriend to shut up....why would they dedicate a song like that to what they
did? I think they are trying to hard to sing for a reason but i really don't know why they would do this so someone....?
How do you communicate those emotions that are so intense that no physical expression or series of words can even scratch the surface?

Hey. Strange, I was gonna make a thread similar to this. I could think of so many weird questions I wanted to ask today....oddly I can't think
of any right now.
Never really heard this song. Can't say it really makes sense either. This about the least insightful post. Sorry. But I will bump what I think
could be an interesting thread.
Thought of something. Is SPAM an acronym? If so,what for?

i dont know why the song itself is dedicated to those people, but it's the thought that counts, right... as long as it's the right
thought.

I can agree with you! it make no sense the whole song has shut up reapeating over and over again nothing to do with the fires.

not really. I only get nervous when I play in front of alot of people I don't know. And that hasn't happened for a while. I'm sure
it's just one of the many different reactions your body gets while nervous.

Someone asked me:
-Why has "dez" not been posting as much as she usually does in the past couple of days, limiting her messages to about 2 or 3 per day, at
the most?
Well...to whatever child asked that.
The answer is quite simple. I am not doing alright, therefore, when I am..I'll come back and be all cheery again.
Thank you, that is all

I personally like being a bit nervous on stage. Not debilitatingly so, but just a little bit. If I was ever not nervous, then I would have to question
if it was worthwhile playing.

debilitatingly
Please elaborate on the meaning of that word sweetheart?.
Thanks.
And..I believe it was Gladys Knight who I once heard talk about something like that..
I cannot remember her exact words but she said that if you are performing and you DONT feel even a tiiiiiny bit nervous, there's something wrong
with you.
It's part of the whole ordeal that goes before/during/after performing.

Why does your mouse hand always get cold?
If you have something to say, raise your hand...and put it over your mouth.

Lack of circulation I guess...
debilitatingly... It means something to the effect of losing the ability to function properly. If you were so nervous for example that you
couldn't play your instrument.

Well, spam is spiced ham, I'm not entirely sure how the word came to be used as a term for over posting on a message board though.

Spam is pretty disgusting. In fact... the thought of it makes me want to vomit. Excuse me.
And how dare they call it meat. For shame.

I used to eat Spam all the time, NEVER cold though, I'd always fry it then chuck it in a sandwich with an egg and some salad.
