Art
To spruce up these rather plain forums, I thought I'd make a creative thread. So, I chose an art thread. Yes, I know you love my stories behind
how I came up with these ideas.
This thread is designated towards absoloutely anything regarding art. Whether it be a drum solo, a painting or a poem that you made.. post it here.
I'm going to post some guitar drawings that I've done. Art, the best thing since seedless grapes.
one last show.

This is my drawing of the band illscarlett. It's special. I know you love my artistic skill of drawing stick figures.
Edit: sorry about that my computer crashed before I could post the pic.

non-existant fan club! Huzzah!

I used to be somewhat of an artist. I always thought when I was young that I would be an animator when I got older. Those dreams dwindled as I got
older and more into music. I can still draw, but I do it very rarely. It's sad really, because I loved drawing so much and now the urge is gone.
Simply replaced by the guitar.
My grandparents said always said they would pay for 50% of my tuition if I went to school to be an animator. But I'm not good enough, really.
Actually when I was in high school, I think more than a third of my credits in the end were art classes of some sort. I took general and advanced
sculpture and ceramics, 3 years of drawing and painting, a commercial art course and one more I can't recall. It may not sound like alot, but
keep in mind when I went to Nelson I only had 28 credits in the 5 years I went there, and 9 of those were those classes. Not to mention the 3 courses
where I shot movies and learned to record music on computer and use midi. I made a couple claymation movies that were really cool, but I lost the
tapes.

My girlfriend goes to OCAD (Ontario College of Art and Design). She's a pretty good artist in her own right. She does sculpture but also works
in a variety of other mediums.

Ya, I don't think the school is like that anymore, but it was great. I lived in the art rooms. And I thoroughly enjoyed the audio/visual
classes. I wish I could go back, because I would pay alot more attention now. I know all the info on cameras and mixers and whatnot would have come in
handy to me.
Plus, I only took the required courses and that's it. The rest was art and spares. That's why it took me 5 years instead of 4...all those
spares. Some times I would only have one class a day.

i was also quite a good artist. but a few years ago i lost the motivation, and i ran out of things to draw. around 5th grade, drawing was replaced by
moviemaking, my current obsession. not to brag, but i think the movies i make are increadable. when it all comes together, i really feel as if i
accomplished something.
when i have more time, ill find an old drawing of mine, and post it. maybe this weekend.

Since we've been bringing back old threads. I was reminded in a conversation with Bart just now about my past love for drawing. Since I have
lost nearly anything I have drawn in my life, I was able to find a pic I drew of my girlfriend a couple years ago. It's nothing too special, but
I like it. I'd post some stuff I did from when I was younger, but, like I said, it's missing.

Thanks, guys. I realize the "titanic" resemblance. It was never meant to be like that, it just ended up that way. I think I captured her
uncomfortable annoyance with staying in the same positon for a couple hours quite nicely.
You're right, the webcam doesn't help much. It would help if I penciled it a bit darker, too.

I finally get to see that drawing! I remember us talking about this months ago, and the whole Titanic feel, except she had her clothes on. [Doubt
you'd be posting it otherwise]
Very nice job,Chris. I had no idea it was that nice haha.
