where do you want me to sign kid?

are you famous? have you ever done something that got your name in the paper? have you ever been on tv? in a movie? on the radio?

tell us what it is you've done that's gotten you a little piece of the spotlight.

what is your claim to fame?

Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record: you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool. And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are now. Perhaps. Except maybe I wouldn't have named our son Elvis.

I was on TV... For the Santa Claus parade in Streetsville. Woot. My brother (Kevinnn) was in the paper when he was 9 b/c he gave a homeless guy a 20 b/c he was sorry for him. It was so gay. A guy arrived in a postal truck and pretended to be an elf. Nice wheels.

Poop. Damn 4 minute rule.

Also, I've had my name in brackets b/c I got the most points in a basketball game. Back in the day, I had my name in the paper alot for goals in hockey.

Unfortunately, my name was also in the paper when my grandmother died. Shucks.

My brother did the same thing many years ago. Probably around the same age as your brother was, only I think my brother gave him more.

You know when muchmusic comes back from a commercial and they are really far zoomed-in an oject or person then they soom out? I was once one of those people. I didn't know till I got home and I saw it on TV, just my big dumb face zoomed-in on and then out. Cool, eh?

Was interviewed in the Boston Globe quite a few years back for my volunteer efforts on dmoz.org (which I'm no longer a part of due to time constraints). Had my site reviewed in the Jacksonville Union back in 1997 when no one had heard of the web.

Photos at : jonnyjames.com, hollymcnarland.ca, inflightsafety.ca, walkersline.com and of course right here.

One of the coolest things ever was I had this guy who used to submit artwork of Bret Hart to my brethart.ca site. I did my best to ensure none of his art was ever displayed on any site other than mine because he was nice enough to make them just for my visitors. Back in 98, or 99, at the first ever Nitro in Toronto, somebody had a sign that an exact copy of one of those pieces of art. Sure it sounds kinda dumb, but I felt really proud that the dude holding it up almost definately got it off my site.

Bret Heart rules man. Your site is awesome. Too bad it's no longer up and running.

It's fun when ppl recognize you for being good at something. Like hey, your that kid that I played baseball with back in the day. That always leads to good, confusing times.

I won the Citzenship Award in gr. 6, my name was in the Mississauga News. Then some biker guy threw me up on his shoulders for the picture.

ha ha ha Chris when I first read that I thought you said that some biker guy threw up on you in the pic. Wow I really need to slow down when I read. You should scan that pic for everyone to see!!

Everytime I've been on tv or in the paper was because of sports...not all that exciting stuff.

i've been involved with many different aspects of media.

i spent a considerable amount of time as an actor therefore i've had speaking roles on many various television series. the one that i'm most embarassed of is when i made fun of "bizzy" on the show "ready or not". there've been many more.

i've written and produced various documentaries and movie shorts that have been part of various independant film showings.

i've written a fair share of screenplays, one of which reaching the final selection processes of Operation Greenlight, the independant screenwriter birth program/contest conceptualized by matt damon and ben affleck.

i've been a writer for several pilots for tv. one of which currently being considered for syndication to the comedy network.

there's more, but i'm already bored of hearing myself speak.

that doesn't sound like anything close to "boastful" to me. seriously, lets hear it.
