Peculiar or Odd Things

Everyone out there has a peculiar or odd trait or habit. Maybe you don't even know it's odd.

I'll give you an example. Even when I'm home alone and I know no one is going to be home and I have to use the bathroom...I always close and lock the door. Don't ask me why because there really isn't a reason why, but I notice that I always do it.

Let's hear yours.

It's nice to know that Krista. Are you scared of bathroom stalkers? If so, write to Ian aka amour_guitarist and he'll begin stalking. Lol

I always start my day off with The Livid. FOF wakes me up in the morning. Usually Egzit, or Watch it Die. Reach scares the shit out of me in the morning b/c I always think that someone is playing my acoustic.

I guess that's not odd.

Kitchener has some weird people you know (excluding myself of course ha ha) and you never know...they may sneak in your house and grab you out of the bathroom ha ha ha I told you I don't know why I do it.

And you're right yours isn't that odd...but you are so it's all good!!

i dont sleep.

Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record: you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool. And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are now. Perhaps. Except maybe I wouldn't have named our son Elvis.

I lock the door too.

when I go into the washroom even when I'm alone or with someone, I shut the door (obviously) and I always look behind the shower curtain. I guess to see if anyone is there stalking me. I'm serious every single time. It may be because my shower curtain is dark green and i just can't see through it to see if anyone is actually there. I do it everytime which becomes a pain when I run to the bathroom about to pee my pants.

So ya that is an odd thing.

Currently listening to: Against Me!

For about a week a month I have terrible night terrors. None of my friends want to sleep over at my house because of it lol. I remember in grade 6 we went to Mansfield Park for an overnight trip and the teachers had to baracade my cabin door because I kept running wild in the forest in my sleep. And you can't really touch me because then I will think you are the "enemy" and attack you. Trogdor_the_burninator found that out the hard way when I was at a cottage with her...she said I shot up out of bed and started yelling "somethings got my leg!" and she tried to reassure me that everything was fine and put her hand on my shoulder and I started thrashing her. Poor Eve...
My mom also said that when we were in Mexico I got up out of bed, changed out of my pajamas and into my clothes and then back into my pajamas and then I started running at the wall and bashing my head against it. When She askd me what the hell I was doing I said "I know I know okay?!" and fell asleep on the floor...I am strange I know...

I have this problem with open doors. I can't stand it when doors are open. If my teacher leaves the door open during class, I will get up and close it. I especially hate it when the computer room door is open...maybe it's because my mom always sneaks up behind me, grabs me and yells "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!"...What is she trying to do, give me a heart attack?! She thinks I look at porn for some reason....whatever gave her that idea?

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

seen the shining a few too many times?

i was watching that with some friends once, and right after that scene, one of my freinds had to go to the bathroom. he was paranoid enough when the shower curtain closed, but when he came out, we jumped out from behind the couch and nearly gave him a heart attack. it was pretty damn funny.

All this bathroom talk reminds me of something strange I do. In my old apartment, you had to hold the flusher for about 5 seconds before it actually flushed, I started to flush while I was peeing. I then, and still do, try and time my pee by having the water completely flush by the time I am done in perfect timing. Too much info? Yes.

i do many peculiar things. not so many in the washroom, but many outside of the lavatory.

i hold my breath when i drive past cemeterys.
i almost always put my clothes in the dryer before i wear them.
when i play sports, i wipe the bottom of my shoes with my hands at every opportunity.

just to name a few.
