to be truely attracted to someone, it takes more than looks....
but is it better when opposites attract? or when you have more in common?

I'm attracted to personality. You got beef? Lol. I love girls that can make me laugh.
Prime example: Cameron Diaz.
Her personality makes her uber hot!

I don't think the guy really exists, Jorge. From what I remember you just resemble the little girl. So I just said you could be her older
brother...
I was confused about this thread at first, but I understand what happened now. Amanda, I think that it is more important to be a little more opposite
than your partner. I think at first it sounds great to be with someone who enjoys everything you do, but in the end you would get sick of
it...probably pretty fast too. It's sort of like dating yourself if you have too much in common. And I don't know anyone who would want
that. Plus, if you have more differences, it can give you that much needed space that is required to make a relationship more lasting.
Of course, you don't want to be complete opposites, because you would never understand eachother. I guess there needs to be a fine balance of
similar and opposite personalities.
I feel like I have been posting alot about relationships today. Why is there so many questions about this stuff all of a suddon?

my middle name is kristian
Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am
amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record:
you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool. And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet
had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him
of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are
now. Perhaps. Except maybe I wouldn't have named our son Elvis.

'depression' over my recent breakup.

yeah, looks are usually the initial attraction, but personality is what keeps it going.

I reckon personality matters more, looks don't really bother me. If I see someone, and think they're hot, then I'll hope they have a
nice personality, that's always the key. I would never go out with someone just because they're hot, and I wouldn't not go out with
someone just because they're not so hot. If they're a nice person, it shouldn't matter.

Well if you "dislike" how a person looks, your not necessairly going to go say hi, how are you... right? But if there is an attraction,
I'd definately want a girl with a personality as well.

Like I've said numerous times...I'd even date someone with a sumo-wrestler body if it meant that he had the personality I was looking
for.

i think looks have to be a factor, because if your not physically attractive to their appearance how could it ever be more then anything other then
