I'd just like to know who will be attending this show?
Does anyone know if the livid are playing last again? Is it possible there will be a longer set seeing as it's a CMW show? That would be rad.
Maybe a slightly different setlist? C'mon! Broke and Crossed guys!
Anyway, I'm totally stoked for this. I think I'm going to have to call in sick on Friday morning seeing as it is a 5:45 am start time and
a 15 hour shift.
So, if anyone recognizes me, feel free to say hi. I'd like that.

Wow. I can't believe they are playing first. I'm still not sure if I like that or not. Seems like alot of people aren't able to make
it now.

Thanks Chris! This is his second graduation in 6 months. However, it's definitely going to be a big event as all the family is coming down from
home (up near Thunder Bay) to celebrate.
As far as the 279 line-up goes, I too am a little surprised that The Livid, Pettit and Walkers are all at the start of the show. I've never even
heard of the closing bands! Ah well.

That's awesome allison.
Do you think that it is more beneficial to play first or last? I'm a little confused now, because I figured that later is better.
And 1 hour for the bands seems pretty awesome. That'll give 'em around 40-45 minutes to play, right? That seems a little longer than
usual...

I thought the middle of the show was normally better for club gigs... by the end everyone is often too drunk or tired to care. Although this show
isn't that late so it's not like that at all...

Generally the biggest drawing acts are put on last in order to hold the crowd. However, like Rob said, many people are too drunk by the end of the
night to notice or care who the closer is. These CMW shows are different too since (for the most part) they are showcases entirely made up of unknown
bands. I guess it doesn't really matter that The Livid are slotted second because people will be in and out of the show all night.

The show is 19 plus, Danielle...how would you have gotten in, anyway?
The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she
wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect
woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

Chris, you may still kick me for not being there on Sunday,by the way.
[Yes, I know this is offtopic]
So..I'll keep it "on topic"
I don't have a ride for Thursday's show, unless you can pick me up at Union Station haha.

Dez, it's like a 5 minute walk from Union...if not closer. As far as I can remember, anyway.
If it's because you feel unsafe, you could cab it from union. There's always tons of them just sitting there. Probably only cost a couple
of dollars.
Oh ya, and don't worry about Sunday. We already figured out what happened. No one person was at fault, so fuck it.

*cough*subway*cough*
Club 279 is about a 15 minute walk from Union Station which still isn't a big deal. There's also a subway stop right near the club.
It's one of my favourite venues to go to simply because its easily accessible by all the forms of public transportation I use!

Yeah, it's right across the street from the (I think) Dundas station... which is at the north end of the Eaton Centre. Unfortunately, unless
things change drastically for me in the next day I will be missing this show.

They're changing the setlist for this show, and playing a brand new song called The Tide. You should all go. Damn that ocean.

It's above the HardRock Cafe, right?...
*crosses fingers* I hope I find it.
Honestly, when it comes to Toronto at NIGHT...I'm lost.
Getting TO T.O isn't the problem, just finding the venue (on time) and getting in is...

Honestly, I am horrible at directions, and downtown Toronto (some of it) is extremely easy to figure out. There is no way you can miss it.
It's a big ass hard rock cafe. It's right by the Eaton's Centre, the Edge building. No way of missing it.
Bring a friend just in case. It's better to be safe.
Edit: And thanks for that news, Bart. That's exactly what I was hoping to hear. It's going to be a good night. Sadly, most of you are
going to be missing out.
