Operation Ivy, Mustard Plug, Less Than Jake, Planet Smashers, and Common Rider (I would recommend Classics of Love by Common Rider...great song) are all great ska bands.

You should also check out some awesome ska bands from Mississauga and Burlington:

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

YA SKA! I fucking love it!

check out my hometown ska band GreenDivision. They are amazing. The mp3s on the site are old and not good at all though. But catch them live at the dungeon in oshawa, they usual play there lots. Oh and they are playing next saturday at le Skratch in Oshawa for bandwarz finals. woo hoo!

Anyhoo paige mentioned most of the good bands. But for sure check out: the mad caddies, big D, and catch 22!

hey Paige: are you going to the ska is dead show? I think I am, I don't want to miss it.

oh man, bring back the old threads. paige wound up missing the ska is dead show, since it was on the same night as the rufio concert. I wish i went to the ska is dead tour. i have recently become addicted to the planet smashers. i also missed seeing crowned king on friday, at the nxne show. They were playing with sleeper set sail, the reason and blue skies at war.

Big D is coming back with Catch 22, RX bandits and Reel Big fish on the 28th (i think)... and STREETLIGHT MANIFESTO is coming!!
