Do you mean to say that The Livid cannot possibly perform infront of the hundreds that will be there, including some who have been there all morning, awaiting such performance in the blazing sun….until you arrive at the scene?

You must be joking.

I bought a lame shirt today that says "I party'd with Justin" on it. I am going to wear it to the show tomorrow, because I am lame.

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

Holy Shit! It was so busy last night. I had no idea it would be like that. Once you got on to spencer smith park, you couldn't even walk.

As soon as we got even close to Brant St., there were drunken idiots everywhere. And it was only just 9 o'clock. people were pissing on the buildings, there was this one asshole that was going crazy- screaming and swearing and yelling at everyone.

I think I have very little tolerance for idiotic teenagers nowadays. I was pretty frustrated most of the evening. Even when there was no need for it, most people were shoving and pushing their way through the crowd during the concert. I know it's all part of the show and I'm sounding like a big baby, but I really have had my fill of sweaty teenagers, mosh pits, people shoving one another and not being able to move concerts in my day, and I don't enjoy myself anymore in a situation like that.

Something some of the older kids forget it is that this isn't just a rock concert - this is also a family thing and there were alot of small children in the crowd trying to watch the show. I can say there were probably 5 kids ages 5-12 just around me. And there were people smoking joints right beside them. How inconsiderate is that? If you really want to smoke, don't do it with kids beside you. Maybe this doesn't bother other people, buit got me going.

You know what? I'm complaining waaaay too much right now. I think it's because I'm hungover Sorry. Apart for my little issues, finger eleven played really well. Man, Rick has some crazy moves. You can really tell how much they have grown. I think that was my tenth time seeing them. First time was 7 years ago, I think. Anyway, I think some of the new material is really growing on me. I'm not sure the name of the song, but there was one that was so good. I also enjoyed "obvious heart". We left when Good times came on to get a head start on the crows. I hope other people had a really good time.

Tonight, I'm guessing will be a lot less busy. I think it was all due to F11's popularity that caused the over crowding. The Livid are going to be so good. I'm really excited. Just 12 hours away

I am

Honestly, I'm sure I've been to well over a hundred concerts in my day where I went all crazy and got myself hurt, but I've gotten really sick of it. I like to watch concerts when I go to them now.

Like I said, sorry abou the rant. I'm not sure why I posted all of that.

Rievax, I totally agree with you actually. There were a lot of very inconsiderate people at the show, and in general at shows. I don't really care if they want to mosh or whatever, but keep that stuff contained within a group of people who want to do it. There are a lot of people who want to watch the performers and listen to the music, which is almost impossible to do when I have to keep an eye on the dumbasses behind me who keep crashing into me.

That being said... as expected Finger totally wrecked house. Rick astounds me everytime. Rich is also quite entertaining on stage. In fact... the whole band is just amazing all around. Too bad to anyone who couldn't make that set. Looking forward to the Livid tonight!

Ok, so we got treated to a new song, but I can't recall how it went. I remember thinking it was good, but I think because I was video taping the show and I didn't know the song, I wasn't paying enough attention to get a good impression of it. I'd like to know what the other people think.

All I have to say is that "test run" is the best fucking song! I love it more and more whenever I hear it. I was sitting at a bar a few hours later and the song was still running through my head. I think it's the best of all their new songs.

The tide was played very well, but it seemed as if Justin didn't scream the parts like the last couple times I've heard it. The screaming is very intense in that song and he can belt out a really good one.

It was really awesome seeing these guys in my home town. Hopefully they can come here again some time. I'm really looking forward to the next 279 show. All my friends were impressed and are looking forward to it.
