Any show like that is good exposure. It's a place where anyone that's just walking down the street can hear and see them play. And it was bloody loud, too.

There wasn't as many people as I figured would be there, but there was still a good sized crowd watching. This is a complete guess, but I would say anywhere from 75-100 people were watching them. That might sound like too much, but I know I came with 10 friends and then there were about 8-10 board members and a good amount of other people watching.

You didn't say hi to me, Jeff .

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

I thought the sound sucked pretty hard at that show... The guy kept changing stuff, and making it worse. At one point it was pretty good, and then he ruined it again.

As far as the Livid go, I thought the first song started a little shaky, but they pulled it together after that and played very well. I am going to reserve judgement on the new song, because of the sound thing, although it did appear to be of the same sort of quality one would expect from the Livid.

And I agree with you totally Rievax, Test Run is a totally killer song. The verse melody is absolutely amazing.

All around, I will say that it was a very good show. Sorry to those I didn't say hi to.

Does anyone know if that was a cut-out, or if the sound guy just screwed up? I think he didn't turn on the mic on the bass drum til about half way through the set...

Ya, I got to say, it was really hard to hear the bass So I don't know what the issue was. Plus Schembri was having the guitar strap problems at the beginning of the set. I think that was during the first song.

I've had Test Run in my head all day still. The chunky intro and the chorus keep on playing. It's awesome.

It was still a great show. I have a couple friends that really want to see them again and were really impressed. I keep thinking if they liked that as much as they say, they are going to love seeing them at a place like 279.
