Assumptions
Do you ever get those people who assume, just by talking to you a couple of times, that you are a certain way? Because you're in a bad
mood one day, you are "bossy" "rude" or "ignorant"? Because you are confident one day, you are now labelled as
"self-centered" and "egotistical"?
Maybe I'm just the only one that notices these things, since Dez and I do attend an all-girls school BUT I think it takes more than ONE
conversation with someone to actually KNOW them.
Jumping to conclusions suck.

OMG! You're like... so one of those people who just like tries to start stuff like, you know?
On a more serious note, I don't generally have that problem, see most people see me as being a nice person when they first meet me, then that
gets shot to shit once they get to know me.

Actually..my school has more manly girls than "girlie-girls."
Yesterday, someone read my writing and said to me, "You wouldn't think that by looking at you you'd have this ability. You kind of
seem like one of those perky girls."
...Does anyone have a switchblade I could borrow?

Oh Sin....you've done it again.
I really don't know how to contribute to this thread. I'm the kind of person who doesn't take things being said about her too
seriously, and always ends up finding humour in whatever's being said.
So...really, I don't want to quote Eminem on this, but I might as well..
"I am whatever you say I am". And, that's in fact how I'm mostly like.
I personally know how I REALLY am, and what I really feel. But, if you as a third party want to go ahead and make an assumption of my person, then
that's okay too. It doesn't really affect me haha.
ESPECIALLY when you hide behind your keyboard. Then it really doesn't bug me, it's hilarious.
But, I'm focusing on day to day life here..so don't pay too much attention to that one haha.
I suggest you all watch 'Mean Girls'...it's the most accurate perception of my highschool...except in the movie it's a co-ed
school.
Same catty girls...same bitch fights.

Mean Girls is like any typical high school out there if your school isnt like that then i must say its pretty fucked up. Kim people jump to
conclusions no matter what kind of school you are in. Like come on I go to the "rich" school but do you know what not everyone who goes
there is rich like me and my family. It's just that is how society today judges people and I'm on your side Kim when I make remarks about
it must be because you go to an all girl school I'm only joking and I hope you understand that. With jumping to conclusions everyone does it
weher they like it or not why do you think when people go on blind dates they make themselves extra pretty so they get on that persons good side. But
when something like that comes to me i really dont care what the person thinks of course I'll dress in a nice way (cause really i dont own
sweats, and i hardly wear make-up) but if they dont like who I am then fine with that. But i know alot of people that I just met this past weekend who
like me for who I am.

It's called making a good first impression. As social beings we form opinions based upon the social interactions we have with others. So, if
someone has a bad first social experience with you, of course they will form a negative opinion of you.
This is why you should go out of your way to be personable while meeting new people.
Also, I've got news for you, this phenomenon doesn't go away as you pass through adolesence. You will have to deal with it your whole
life, especially when looking for a job.

Don't I know it. In job interviews they call me "Mister Zero".

we're called the "rich" school i think because
1) our uniforms are a little more prep than the average catholic uniform (blazers and ties)
2) because its a new school, everything is new, and we had a higher budget than the rest of the schools because for the first 4 years of operation
schools recieve a "starting budget" which is high so we can purchase all items necessary, whereas an older school would already have these
things.... but we have huge TVs, tons of cameras, DVD players, video tape players, and random other technical instruments.... and musical instruments
(who would have thought Timpanis cost that much)
3) we have some of the richest kids in mississauga in our bounds... but for the most party you can't tell whos from where, because we all dress
the same..... except for the really dumb rich kids who pretend to act poor, and pretend that they are thug. a grade nine tried to pick a fight with my
friend sandy yesterday. ha.... they stand out.
as for assumptions... i always give people the benefit of the doubt... to me everyone is good and everyone is nice, unless they prove otherwise to
me... for example try to pick fights. But generally i like everyone i meet, no matter what anyone else has to say about them...

Let's not brag about who has what and what not. Any school can get free, state of the line shit (thanks to our Liberal Gov't) for
absoloutely free. We just have to watch a 20 min commercial in the morning about their products. Good promo, actually.

I don't understand how the school budget works, let alone the Dufferin-Peel school board.
Because of our literacy test scores, they went our non-semestered school to change to a semestered school.
Human guinea pigs.

By what Amanda said...Gonzaga isn't really a school for 'rich' people, like Danielle had suggested ..
It's still part of the school board hahaha..
But..yay for new stuff.
We're gonna have to replace everything that was lost in that burnt portable haha.
