I hate people who use l33t. I want to stick forks in their eyes and set fire to their hair.

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

what i find quite sad is that people actually say "lol" and "roffle" (ROFL) on comms instead of laughing.

i find the use of "leet speak" incredibly amusing when used sarcastically in the presence of a die hard devotee of it, ie a 13 year old CS players whose balls have yet to drop.

Has anyone ever had the experience where you're talking to someone in person, and they say something funny and instead of actually laughing you just say "LOL"?

All the time, but it's with the person I always talk to on the net, so yeah, we're just stupid like that. It's even sadder that we start mis-spelling words on purpose, even in person, simply because we do it so often when typing fast. Like "punk" has become "pubk" (and more recently "pybk", pretty soon the whole word will be different and we'll be walking down the street talking absolute gibberish and people will think we're insane or something) and "cool" is now "cfol". Oh, and I only say "lol" on AIM and stuff when I literally am laughing out loud, which is often when I'm talking to Tim.

As for the original post...

"r0x0r" and all its variations means "rocks" or "rock".

For instance "you rock!" becomes "j00 r0xx0rs!!11!!!!!1111".

what bugs me is when people use 3 as an e. Now is it that hard to push the letter beside the w and the r? no.

That is one thing that drives me bananas!

Anyone who could capture all the elegance of running and hiding behind a dumpster, while periodically poking one's head out to make sure no one followed and placing it in a single smilie deserves a medal... yes, that is a challenge.
