Our Science teacher suggested we watch 'the day after tomorrow'...but, no thanks. I'm not into that type of movies..
OH MY.
Shrek2 is a must-see for everyone. It was so much better than the first movie, in my honest opinion...AND the humour in it was directed towards adults
a lot more..most kids in the theatre didn't get it, even some of the teens.
Also, several scenes are related to other movies that have been released within the past year. They poke fun at others too..
I was pleased with the soundtrack, and as soon as I got home I downloaded the song 'Accidentally in Love' by Counting Crows...
So...go watch it..all of you.
you won't let me down...

does anyone know where coffee and cigarettes is playing in the toronto area?
i saw shrek 2, cute and funny.
i also saw the day after tomorrow... your typical end of the world kind of movie, surprisingly rated PG, decent language, vilence pertains to natural
deaths... and no sexual content. by todays standrads thats a miracle.

Les Triplettes de Belleville <3.
The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she
wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect
woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

shrek 2 although very funny, just didnt have the same effect as the first one. 3 1/2 out of 5
and now i think im the only one who hated Harry Potter 3, am i?
i thought the first 2 were ok, but man, the 3rd enstallment was terrible. i attribute this to the new director because i do have to agree that the
acting was better, but the camera work in the beginning was terrible, and it didnt seem like they were really at school for most of the movie. of
course 3 was my least favorite book story-wise, so that probably had something to do with it, but seriously what the fuck was with the shrunken
talking heads? anyway that's my opinion.

I think since I am in the category of people that have never read a Harry Potter book, it gives me a completely different view of the film versions.
And since I had no idea what would happen and had no expectations for the movie, I was highly entertained. I like that the movie got a bit darker...in
all aspects.
I think the kids have aged well. They don't seem to be too old for the roles. They have gradually aged with the role, as they should. The acting
was far superior than the previous installments. I really hope they can get the same actors for as long as they can.
I just saw Mystic River and was confused about the ending. I'm not sure exactly what went on. Just the last 3 or so minutes with the whole
parade thing. What were they trying to say with having Dave's wife wander around like a whacko and the sean and Jimmy thing at the end just
really didn't make sense to me. Was Sean letting Jimmy get away with it? An excellent movie up until that point.

Has anyone read the Borne Identity? I read it before seeing the movie and the movie was a total disappointment for me. However, I know a lot of
people that loved the movie. I think I would rather read the book than see the movie. I'd rather have my own interpretation of it than watch
someone else's.

i saw harry potter 3 today. i thought some of the acting was terrible - harry's actor made me cringe in several scenes -- all of the first 20
minutes were pants. oh, and the bit in hogsmeade where he says he hopes sirius black finds him, because he's going to kill him was terrible. i
think they got the wrong actor for lupin, and they screwed up the scene in the shrieking shack (it was way too fast moving - there are supposed to be
a bunch of revalations very important to the story in this scene, and they rattle through them as if they are totally insignificant). and arthur
weasley seemed very wrong when having his chat with harry near the beginning... and also stan the bus conductor was way too intimidating. however, i
thought the whole time travel story at the end was fantastically done, and apart from all the stuff i've mentioned it was very good. ron
didn't suck nearly as much as in the previous two.

Hermione is EXTREMELY flirty on this third movie..
"Oh, this is so sad!" (hugs Ron running her hand slowly accross his chest)
And, you know..just how she's holding everyone's hand at some point.
I LOVED the credits. That 'Marauder's Map' feel was wicked.
And the 'Double Trouble' being sung by the London Sinfoinetta was amazing. It's one of my favourite Shakespearean poetry.
Some of the camera shots were weird...and I agree that the acting wasn't all that great.
What bugged me about it too is how they fade to black and magically Harry's already in Hogsmeade. I mean..what about the tunnel.
What about the damn tunnel?! And the witch's statue?
(breathes)
I agree about the Shrieking Shack part too, Bart. That was highly important in the book.
I would have also preferred if they had been in cloaks more...that's the whole thing of HP...not normal clothes, or funky school uniforms with
ties and rolled up sleeves.
you won't let me down...

Does anyone else here love Moulin Rouge as much as me? I love the costumes and how they did covers of popular songs and all that. Plus Ewan McGregor
is a hotass.
