so I haven't been around for a while, but i'm still checking up on the place. how are all you guys?
the reason i haven't been here, is cause i've been working on a movie for the last 2 weeks. it's a competition where students from
my town submit their best work, and then 5 college and 5 high school students are selected to participate in the competition. the goal: make a 10
minute film in 10 days. previously they held a screenwriting competition in which students submitted their best scripts 10 winners were selected to
write scripts specifically for the competition, one of which was one of my buddies who wrote an amazing screenplay. then the winners of each were
paired up (a filmmaker with a screenwriter) and you must make the movie in 10 days. it was pretty nuts. we were only allowed to have a crew of 4
people. so I was the assistant director, chief editor, sound man, producer basically i did 50% of the work. our script sucked, so we were in trouble
from the get go, but by spending litterally every moment of the time (that i wasn't sleeping for a few hours or going to half of my classes) on
the movie, we pulled it off, and managed to win the competition. it was pretty exciting getting to see my movie on the big screen. we won $3000 to a
computer store and we're trying to figure out what to do with it and how to split it.
when i have more time I'll figure out how to upload the film online so you can all see it. it's not really my best work, and not the kind
of movie i would normally make, but considering we made it in 10 days and considering how shitty our script was i thing we did a great job.
anyway that's what's up with me. i'll try to catch some of you on msn later, i really want to talk to you lot.
later folks.

I'm going to go, but I'm only really going for Deftones and Dredg. I've heard good things about Pelican. A couple other bands should
be cool, but for the most part, I'm only going to go for a couple bands.

You should see Story of the Year if you can. even if you dont really like their music much, it's worth it cause they are insane performers,
doing karate kicks and flips and stuff while they are playing, it's pretty impressive.

I'll check out story of the year. There's a few songs by them I dig. I'm just not all into the hardcore stuff. I'd like to see
Thursday, too. I mean, even if all I wanted to see was Deftones, it'd still be worth the price of admission. And even if I don't like a
band, I still enjoy watching live shows.

you're a jackass.
i reported my OWN message.
i honestly didn't remember, until i saw the booklet with the thank you's on FoF.
bowes later on confirmed my stupidity.
regardless...i stand on the fact there just might be a relation to chris in some way or another. it's too much coincidence that a
'schembri' from MISSISSAUGA won. there can't be too many.
but yes, i'm a tool.
you won't let me down...

i know you reported it... you asked the mods to edit your message, point out that you're wrong and call you a tool. i did all this except edit
your post. if it looked like you got it right and then we said you were wrong and called you a tool that'd be silly.

waste of money imo. $5k US for a 2nd hand car? plus you can't fit your drums in there. and it's done 127,000 miles. and, what the fuck,
it's automatic??? where's the fun in that?
