i haven't been in school since 2001. i'm too cool for school

Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record: you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool. And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are now. Perhaps. Except maybe I wouldn't have named our son Elvis.

Millard, do you happen to know Brittney Toth? A blonde haired short girl that goes to Western for nursing. I highly doubt it b/c I'm guessing it's a rather big school... She's going into her 2nd year.

Well my school's orientation thing is on Tuesday.. School starts on the 7th. I'm excited to see everyone and to toilet paper my 'favorite' teacher's car from last year... Bastard!

Why did I KNOW you were going to say that......
All signs point to: YES, you know too many people.

I'm actually looking forward to going to school this year, my attendance will still probably be terrible, but it's going to be a fun year.
4 english courses, media,music,and dance.
That's my schedule for the year....oh yeah, and math in there somewhere, but that's a breeze.

If my school didn't look so much like a prison, and was packed with girls, I'd enjoy being in school. So, all I'm looking forward to is my schedule, after that...I'm OUT of there.

Since I'm currently doing school and I have a few minutes to kill before I have to go to work I'm going to go through the assignments I have to do.

Firstly, a 2000 word essay on a subject relating to photojournalism, it's due tomorrow.
I also have to do a report on a cinematographer (I chose Roger Deakins; House of Sand and Fog, The Shawshank Redemption, Tigerland, and more), I can't actually remember what I'm supposed to write about for this one so I should probably e-mail my lecturer.
Next up is for my Narratives and Criticism class, I have to write an analytical review on a work of art (doesn't matter what sort of artwork, so long as it's not "pop culture" since that was covered in the last assignment) which means I'm going to the National Gallery of Victoria on Wednesday to have a look at some of the latest exhibitions (I'll probably end up reviewing the Impressionist showing).
Then there's my drama journal, which I really should start since we're already halfway through the semester.
