I hate that, too!

(some dvd pet peeves coming up)

And I also hate useless special features like "trailers". Why would anyone want to watch a preview for the movie they just watched?!

I also hate when movies have barely any special features, but they release it on 2 discs (bad boys 2). Then they claim in the commercials that it's "jam-packed" with special features.

I also hate the fact that DVD releases are released later simply because it's smarter financially for the companies. For example, all the futurama DVD's are long completed and released in Europe, Japan and Australia, but North America doesn't get the third season until March and then we will probably have to wait another 10 months before the 4th season is out. This happens all the time. That's why Simpson dvd's get released once a year. If they are going to dick around for that long, at least throw on some more special features.

One more. I hate it when you watch audio commentaries and you just listen to silence. No one ever talks half the time! I was watching a movie and I counted almost 20 minutes before someone started to talk again.

That's all.

In my experience, the Lord of the Rings Special Edition DVDs are the only DVDs that are actually jam-packed with special features (4 discs for each movie - the movie and 4 audiocomentaries on 2 discs, and behind the scenes on the other 2 for about 7.5 hours.)
and in the audio commentaries, there are so many people taking turns talking, that there is not a minute of silence.

That's true. I guess I have nothing to complain about in that sense. But it still sucks for all parties.

me: 'Could I get a large coffee with one cream please"

drivethru: 'So that's one med coffee with 2 sugars and 1 cream?'

I get this a lot and I do speak clear and it makes me wonder what they are doing because at that moment their only job is to take my order and they can't even get that right!

*speaks CLEARLY into speaker*
"Could I please have a blueberry muffin and a small french vanilla?"

"We don't have any raspberry muffins"

"*sighs* I know that, I asked for BLUEBERRY"

"So, a blueberry muffin and a regular?"

"No, a SMALL french vanilla"

"Oh, okay, so two blueberry muffins and one regular french vanilla"

"Forget it" *tells friend to keep driving and go to a different tim hortons instead*

This my friends, is a TRUE story...which happened last week.
Annoying as fuck

my guess is that either 1) the speakers in those things are so bad that they can barely make out what you are saying, 2) the people who work there are so out of it, they cant even get your order straight, or 3) it's a contest between eployees as to how many people they can piss off in a day...

Hah, no fries at Tim Hortons.

Imagine that...Tim Horton's fries...they'd taste so...weird...I don't know why.

Finally, pre-frozen french fries... Much different from McDonald's of course.
